Using PowerVT via Telnet allows physicians to connect to critical mainframe data through their laptops while off-site - a necessity for doctors in our facility.

PowerTCP is a great product. From day one of installing the software I had TCP/IP and FTP demos ready the same day. The PowerTCP Zip Tool enabled me to encrypt data and send it over the Internet without creating a physical file on the server ! I did this using the native stream capability. This enables a client to ask for data from the server, have the data compressed into a zip file on the server, and then sent to the client without any extra files being created on the server. Furthermore, the FileStore concept allows me to store multiple files in a single compressed file, allowing for a really clean client/server distribution model. Other controls let me compress, encrypt, etc., but your design allows for a clean delivery mechanism, which is not easily accomplished with other products.
